    Description

1700/1800's Antique European Inscribed Outlaw's Knife & Scabbard
    Here i
s a superb and UNIQUE early knife with it's original scabbard
MASTERFULLY HAND WROUGHT and HAMMERED STEEL BLADE with HAND TOOLED INSCRIPTION AND PATTERNS!!!
An outlaw's dagger/knife or a hunting knife, bearing a great story (undecipherable for us)
Would be attached to the belt
Well inscribed on both sides of the steel blade, which somewhat is distinguishing it from other hunting knives of the same period
Patterns and designs, along with hand-chased script
We are unsure of the language, possibly Greek or Latin
    Wood scabbard with brass overlay
Marked with an "8" on the back, near the belt loop
Possibly Continental European or Greek in origin from the 1700's or very early 1800's
    DEFINITELY NEEDS A THOROUGH RESEARCH!!!
