1980s~SCAGEL PATTERN~UNUSED~CUSTOM W. VA. HUNTING & FIGHTING KNIFE +ORIG. SHEATH

This auction is for a top of the line rare and unused 1980's vintage William Scagel pattern custom hunting and fighting knife with the original leather sheath. The previous owner swore this unmarked handmade custom knife was made by a reputable Custom Knife Maker in West Virginia where he acquired it in the late 1980's. This finely crafted knife has a 4 section stag antler handle grip with three brass spacers with a stag crown end adorned with an acrylic covered white tail deer scene pommel, soldered blade to nickel silver guard connection, and a very sharp upswept drop point encapsulated full tang high carbon stainless steel blade with a polished mirror finish. This knife only has some very minor light insignificant sheath wear and is still in excellent, unused condition. The original top grade custom leather sheath has a Rem 25.06 rifle shell percussion end for the strap connection and has some storage wear, overall still in very good+ condition. Please zoom in on all pictures for details. The knife measures 10 3/4" with a 6" blade and in the sheath the weight is 11.2 oz.
