22" Vintage Molded Face Cloth Doll by Pauline Bjonness-Jacobsen Orig & Tag 1985

Description

Vintage "Dolls by Pauline" cloth (about 22 inches in height) doll from 1985.
I am a fan of the artist Pauline Bjonness-Jacobsen (1935-2006) and have presented doll programs on her remarkable life, but the doll room is too crowded so I am parting with a few Pauline dolls as I have time to list them.
Description:
She is all original and has been displayed, but never undressed or played with as far as I can tell. She is more than 35 years old.
Head:
This lovely girl has a painted molded stockinette mask face with blue eyes, pink lip color, blushed cheeks and the signature Pauline look. Her long wig is dark auburn with bangs and is soft and easily brushed into place and is adorned with two pink ribbons.
Body: Soft cloth body that sits nicely or will stand in a doll stand with seamed hands to distinguish fingers
Clothing: Long-sleeve deep blue with pint print dress with back Velcro closure, white duck-cloth pinafore with matching piping and lace across the top and ties in back. Underneath, she wears white pantaloons with embroidered lace trim and the elastic is still tight to her waist and has not stretched out (that is very uncommon and surprising), white cotton socks and blue velveteen Mary Jane shoes.
She holds a pink cloth bear still attached to her right hand and her original Dolls by Pauline tag attached to her left hand.
I cannot find any flaws to report other than some light surface dirt on her white pinafore from sitting in her little chair for so many years. I don't see this as a problem, but there may be some who might prefer to give it a Woolite soak.
