Antique 1945 Kansas Car Tag License Plate, 61-635

Description

This is an Antique Automobile tag:  Kansas 1945;  White with black printing, all original.  It measures about 10 7/8 by 4 7/8 inches.  The number is 61-635 ( Norton County) and KANSAS - 45 appears along the upper edge.
This tag has been part of a tag collector's inventory for the past 40 years and stored with care.  This tag has several unique details, perhaps related to the year 1945 which saw continued fighting of WWII.  The tag is all white with black letters and numerals.  It is a smaller size than most other car tags.  The tag has raised lettering but not a raised border; it is as if the printing was stamped on the back of the tag.  The script is narrow and simplistic.  The white background of the tag looks really good through the center and along the right side.  On the left side there is light rust.  There is also light rust and some pitting around the "6" and "3".  There are some light scuffs on some of the letters/numbers.  The upper right corner has paint off the edge.  On the back of the tag, there are light rust "washes" in places on the white back.  The one upper corner has scratches and light rust along the raised border.
