    Antique American Bowie Style Knife, Circa 1850.Bowie style knifes has been produced by American blacksmiths and cutlers. Less decorated but sturdy knives.They called “ Butcher knife”.Knife measures 17 inches long, blade measures 11 1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide. Carbon steel, Bowie clip. Wood handle has 2 broken pieces, coffin type , measures 5 1/2 inches long .Spine almost 1/4 inches thick. Very RARE. Good antique condition.
