Antique Metal Head Boy Doll Big 25" All Original Clothing Standfuss Juno Germany

Description

Interesting and harder to find high-quality antique metal head boy doll, measuring a large 25". His original clothing circa late 1800's to early 1900's is sewn on so we cannot undress him to look for maker's mark; he has shoulder plate painted head and appears similar to the German Standfuss Juno or possibly Minerva dolls. Molded hair, painted blue eyes, surface flaking as seen in photos. Custom sewn cloth hands are unusual, painted legs/shoes. Firm sawdust type body. Period clothes have normal age wear but are charming: collar with bow tie, corduroy jacket, shirt with little red buttons and fleur-de lis pattern, red wide band belt, tartan plaid pants. Hand sewn ensemble, please look at photos for condition details. Great display piece as he shows or restore to original condition; works either way! Size is harder to find and this unique period outfit is one-of-a-kind.
