ARDALT HAND PAINTED MID CENTURY PLATE #3903 HONG KONG EXCELLENT CONDITION!

Description

This is a ARDALT, Madison Avenue, New York City imported hand painted in Hong Kong plate, dating mid-century and featuring finely executed artwork!  This plate is quite lovely, showcasing a border of hand painted ribboned lines, gold fish embellishments surrounding swans, an inner band of floral garlands, with the central focus of the plate being a garden with birds, flowering grasses and trees and two people enjoying their visit under an umbrella.
The plate is in beautiful condition and measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter and 3/4 inches in depth.  The back of the plate reads:

The lovely plate was imported by the ARDALT company, which commissioned china to be to created and hand painted in several different countries.  This Ardalt plate was created in Hong Kong and therefore features an exquisite hand painted Asian garden theme.  The rendering of the scene is quite delicate and beautifully depicted and this plate would make a lovely addition to any collector of special, showcase plates.  This plate is one of several plates that made this Asian garden series.  The sister plates feature ducks, bunnies and other types of wildlife, where as this plate features a pair of lovebirds.
