The Calin Wultur Workshop is a group of string instrument makers in Reghin, Romania, led by Calin Wultur. It produces instruments that are unique in the world for their workmanship and tone relative to their price.
As time has progressed along with economic progress, traditional European centers of lutherie such as France and Germany, that once produced instruments on a commercial level that were of high quality, have grown largely uncompetitive with other regions such as Eastern Europe. Reghin’s tradition of lutherie does reach back for some time, but, with the exception of a number of talented, individual makers, mainly as a center for factory instruments. The Wultur workshop cannot objectively be categorized as a factory – the work done is largely by hand, and the number of workers is less than thirty.
European wood, workmanship, and tradition coupled with an economically advantageous locale make Calin Wultur a unique value in string instruments. In recent years, the Calin Wultur workshop has been home to some of our Polish luthiers to hand apply varnish, creating Limited Edition instruments with a unique look and feel. All Calin Wultur instruments include a set of Thomastik Dominant strings.
The #6 models receive more attention from master luthier Koscielny in the detail and setup of the instrument, producing even more compelling sound and more beauty visually.
All woods used are of Romanian-Carpathian origin, cut by the staff of the Calin Wultur Workshop, and carefully selected and properly seasoned.

RETURNS:
Returns may be offered within 30 days of the date the customer's order was received.
Items must include all original packaging and be in the same condition as when the item was received.

The customer is responsible for return shipping.
Any orders that included free shipping will be refunded minus the original shipping cost. No returns on CDs, DVDs, software, in-ear monitors, reeds, mouthpieces, harmonicas, vintage or consignment items.
WARRANTY:
All NEW items carry the original warranty issued by the manufacturer. All DEMO and USED items carry a 30-day warranty through Ted Brown Music, unless otherwise noted. Vintage and Consignment items carry no warranty. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding warranties.
SHIPPING:
All items will be shipped via the lowest priced method/carrier. If you would like to upgrade to a faster method/carrier please contact Ted Brown Music for additional price and details.
Once items leave our warehouse, the carrier accepts responsibility for the item's safety and delivery.
Ted Brown Music accepts no responsibility for any damage that occurs during shipping. Customers are asked to please handle all shipping claims through the appropriate channels with the carrier responsible for delivery.
