    Description

    CUSTOM ENGRAVED MINIATURE "James Whitehead" COLLECTOR'S KNIFE.
    An Ultra Rare James Whitehead miniature. James passed away several years ago, yet left his incredible ability for others to marvel at. If I have my info correct, Mr. Whitehead was a bench jeweler for 50 years and worked for Kershaw knives (Kershaw worked for Gerber) and with the hands-on from both of these vocations, he was able to fabricate the best of the best......the engraving was executed under a microscope. The thickness of the blade where the engraving is terminated is 1.2mm. The overall length is 5 1/16" including sheath, which has 18k accents. Note the edge of the dime between the blade and sheath for reference of thickness.
    The knife slides in smoothly and then binds tight.....amazing!
