About the maker
This is really a very nice violin built by RI Liu. Liu is truly a great craftsman. Liu start to learn violin making since his 21. And he spend 6 years on constructions of the violin body then spend almost 10 years on his own violin’s vanished. He did a really good job on constructions and vanished on the instruments. This Lafont copy with very nice projections and the constructions work is very accurate to the original. But we could not said all size is follows the original Lafont violins because as you know Lafont’s wood thickness has been dry for centuries. Instead of, we will apply the reasonable wood thickness for the new violins. Of cause every violin’s wood thickness is some little difference due to the hardness of the wood is difference, we will test the wood hardness by hand and decide how’s the thickness will be.

Model. The E string is very clear and the G string is deep. It’s with nicely rounded high notes.
