Hand-made sailor's fishing /survival knife, twine-wrapped handle, MONARCH sheath

Very interesting survival / fishing knife with a twine-wrapped wood handle; probably sailor-made. High-carbon steel blade is unmarked; it is RAZOR-sharp with no nicks; the tip is intact. About 10-7/8" / 27.6 cm overall; the blade is about 6" / 15.2 cm. The handle is tight with zero play. Leather sheath is obviously not original to the knife but it fits it like a glove; made by Monarch in Japan; great overall condition. Very interesting survival knife with a lot of character; it will be a great addition to any collection!
