    Description

    Houze Black Elephant Ink Blotter Glass circa 1931.  This is a charming vintage Art Deco ink blotter made by Houze Glass in the form of an elephant. It is made like a rocking horse with a curved bottom that would have held a piece of felt to be used to blot signatures to prevent the ink from smearing or running. It has a great Art Deco design and makes a wonderful ornament or desk accessory.
    It measures about 4 inches by 2 1/2 inches and it is in very good condition with no chips cracks or other damage to the glass.
