    Description

INDIAN GURKHA KUKRI KNIFE with etched blade and hand decorated and sewn sheath.  This knife was part of my late uncle's collection and I, therefore, have no knowledge of the knife nor its history.  This is what I can tell you about it:
    The knife weighs 5.8 ounces
    The sheath weighs 1.3 ounces
The overall length of the knife is 9"
    The blade length is 6"
The length of the sheath is 7"
The blade has raised etching on one side which contains the country "India".
The sheath appears to be hand made.  It is made of wood with an outer, sewn on, highly decorated cover.  I do not know what the outer cover is made of other than it is some type of a cloth.  The sewn side of the sheath has 1-2 lose stitches at the top.  The butt of the handle has some type of material attached which is chipped.  I do not know what the handle is made from, but it feels like pewter. I do not know the exact material used for the blade, but it is magnetic which tells me that it is most likely some sort of steel.
Ships to the 50 United States only.  Payment due within 72 hours of end of auction.  You may email me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them.  Returns accepted only if item received is not as described/pictured.
