    Antique Jonathan Crookes Bone Handle Bleeder Knife or blood letting tool a medical instrument. Was also said to be used as a ink scraper. Blade in good shape being over 200 years old Jonathan Crookes & address show strong. It appears that a fine crack started up bone handle but repaired. In hand feels strong with no weakness. 1780 - 1827 when became Jonathan Crookes & Sons it was made after 1827. This is a early blade and so early has actual address in Sheffield England which now is a library/School. I was amazed it had original fine leather sheath. This has been around thru many times of war. Historic collective medical knife. Sold as is as seen.
