For your consideration is this Large Bowie Brass Ribbed Pommel Ferrule and Cross Guard One pc Wood Grip c1840 No Sheath
.  This antique knife is in very nice condition.  The wood handle is in great condition with no chips or cracks.  Connections are tight.  There is no sheath.  The overall length is 20", the blade length is 14".
The blade has a few nicks
, carbon spots and pitting,
with some darkening of the S.E. blade, please see pictures. It
is sharp.
Please see pictures and make your own opinion regarding condition etc.  I am not a weapons expert by any stretch of the imagination.
This knife is from an extensive collection of world edged weapons assembled in the 1970's & 80's by a Northern Florida antique dealer.
