large primitive vintage antique bowie toothpick knife dagger Civil War

Description

This large dagger is 15 3/4 inches long overall with a 10 3/4 inch blade.  It has a wood handle with a steel guard, collar, and pommel plate.  The knife is unmarked and appears to be somewhat primitively hand made.  This item is used with lots of wear and a dark patina.  The handle has a long crack along one side (see photo 3).  The handle & guard are loose & wobbly.  There is no sheath.  Shipping is .99
