    1968-D Washington Quarter 25C Error Coin
    Rare mated pair clad layer separation error.
    The detached piece shows an incused and reversed impression of the reverse, almost like a brockage, but is actually the reverse strike details showing through this thin separated layer.
    Mated pair clad layer lamination errors are rare and I have yet to see another clad quarter split such as this in which both matching pieces are offered together.
