The Polycom SoundStation 2 (2201-15100-601) Non-Display
Conference Phone
is an entry level conference phone. The SoundStation 2 is an analog conference phone that can work on a regular POTS analog line or through an analog extension port on a digital or IP based phone system (requiring an analog (FXS) port for its use). The SoundStation 2 is an updated version, providing an improved full duplex speakerphone for natural conversations. The microphones in the conference phone are now 50% more sensitive while featuring dynamic noise reduction. This model conference phone does not have an LCD screen and is not expandable (cannot accept extra microphones for larger conference room coverage), but does come with a power supply.
For those using VoIP, an ATA (analog teminal adapter) will allow users to use the Polycom SoundStation 2.
