Sony EVIHD1 10x High Definition Color Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera, Factory RefurbishedSony EVIHD1 10x High Definition Color Pan/Tilt/Zoom Camera, Factory Refurbished
Factory refurbished: The next best thing to new, maybe even better because it's been given a thorough going-over. These are still in the factory boxes with remote, AC adapter, power cord, and manual.
Conference rooms and boardrooms everywhere are going HD, and Sony's EVI-HD1 takes the headache out of this transition with the flip of a switch - literally. Since the EVI-HD1 is also compatible with standard definition (SD), this unique p/t/z camera allows you to take the first step in HD migration.
The EVI-HD1 camera combines a high-quality HD color video camera with the flexibility of remote pan/tilt/zoom operation. With 14 formats to choose from (including eight HD types and six SD video formats), this dynamic camera allows end-users to decide when they are ready to migrate from SD to HD. The EVI-HD1 is compatible today with existing videoconferencing systems and will be compatible tomorrow with HD based ones.
It also inherits many outstanding features from the EVI-D100 P/T/Z camera and couples these with superb HD picture quality. Smooth, high-speed pan/tilt operation, 16x9 aspect ratio images and a built-in 10x optical zoom/wide angle lens, make the EVI-HD1 ideal for small to medium size conference rooms.
Video Format Compatible with Multiple Formats from NTSC/PAL to Full HD
The EVI-HD1 camera allows for SD to HD migration. The EVI-HD1 enables you to shoot an image using the 1080i full high definition video format and output in one of 14 formats, including eight HD types and six SD video formats (e.g. 720p, 1080p, 1080i and HD-Analog and HD-Digital).
Quiet, High-Speed Pan/Tilt Action
By adopting the direct drive motor mechanism similar to the drive motor found in the EVI-D100 camera, the EVI-HD1 camera is extremely quiet and moves smoothly and quickly to the designated positions.
High-Quality Image Transmission via the Digital Interface (HD-SDI)
This new camera outputs an HD image that conforms to the SMPTE 292M serial digital interface standard which allows for long distance transmission of high-quality images.
Built-In Conversion Lens for Wide Angle View (70 degrees)
The EVI-HD1 incorporates a newly developed wide-angle lens for wide field of view image capture, a plus for small to medium sized conference rooms.
RS-232C Serial Control by VISCA™ Protocal
All camera settings and pan/tilt/zoom functions for the EVI-HD1 can be controlled remotely via PC.

Frequently asked questions
How are you?
About the same, thanks for asking.
So what's included in your listing?
Everything you see in the pictures and nothing you don't.
Anything else?
I'll throw in a box.
Oh, a smart guy, eh?
In case that's not rhetorical: I'm not smart enough to know about everything that passes my way. I do my best to evaluate the things I sell, but often defer to the superior knowledge of the prospective buyer.
Will you ever learn?
Probably not.
What if the item I buy from you doesn't work?
You have 30 days from receipt to return it for a refund if it doesn't do as I describe.
What if I don't like the color?
Then you have 14 days.
If I tell you how crappy and obsolete your item is in a condescending enough tone, will you do me the favor of selling it to me for a fraction of your asking price?
No.
Thanks, Obamacare.
Don't mention it.
Can I pick up my winnings in person?
I don't know you well enough to know your capabilities.
OK, may I?
Certainly!
Did I forget anything?
What am I, a mind reader?
Will you discuss these imaginary conversations with your psychiatrist?
The conversations are quite real, it's you who are imaginary.
You just blew my mind.
Who said that?
