VINTAGE OLD FILE HANDMADE HUNTING KNIFE WITH ANTLER HANDLE **NO RESERVE**.
Another estate find.  Blade is stamped "OLD FILE HANDMADE" and is approximately 10 & 3/4".  Total length is around 16".  Handle appears to be some king of antler, but if it's deer it came from a damn big one.  The blade is slightly skewed where it mounts through the guard and into the handle (see photos).  There is epoxy around it and it is solid.  No wobble.  I do not if this is the original handle or not, but I tend to think it is a custom handle as this estate belonged to a man who did woodworking, gunsmith and leather work.  And I have found other handmade/homemade knives (check out my other auctions!), as well as blanks and broken knives and parts.  There is some surface rust that can easily be removed.  I leave that to the buyer so they can use their preferred method.
