Estate fresh find!
Vintage 1960s era big-eye panda baby bookends.  These are adorable!  Each is filled with sand for weighting.  They are a light chalkware or ceramic material.  Unknown maker.  Their coloration is airbrushed and they have nice detailing.  They are not perfect (please read the condition prior to bidding).  Selling them as-is and as-found.
Condition
These are not perfect though they are cute and still look good on a shelf.  Each has a chip on the backside at the upper corner of the bamboo.  They  have some missing paint flecks/fleabites here and there on the color.  The panda that would be on the rightmost bookend has cracking on the base at his extended foot (I can provide you a photograph, just let me know).  They are filled with sand and have a small pad that is holding the sand inside (it's the black square showing underneath on the base) which is held on by tape and was put there long ago.
That being said, these are adorable and they are priced according to their issues though if you are looking for a perfect set, this is not them so please take that into consideration when bidding.
Please keep in mind that this item came from an estate where the people loved, cherished, and used their things.  As such, some of them were packed away over time and have not seen the light of day until we are listing them.  We do everything we can to describe everything to the best of our abilities - good, bad, flaws and all.  We would not with any intent leave something out of the description.
As most of these items are used and old, they will have some wear which is normal.

About Us
We come from a large family of 9 children.  We operated an antique store for many years and now sell exclusively on eBay.  My mother is 89 years old and is the backbone of the operation.
