    Description

    For sale is a vintage decorative lidded Chinese jar with butterflies.    It is approx. 9" tall with the lid on.  Jar alone is 6 1/8" tall.  Top opening is 6 1/2" in diameter and bottom is 5 5/8".  Designs are slightly raised. I think it is pottery but I am not sure-looking at edges of underside of lid.   Selling for decorative purpose only.  I would say:  NOT FOOD SAFE.  It is heavy for its size.
