Vintage mid 20th c Philippines punal punyal gunong daga nice wide blade engraved
Description: Nice mid 20th century Philippines punyal. Thick, wide steel blade with unusually deep and clear floral engraving. White metal or aluminum guard and bolster. Hardwood hilt with nice grain, i don't think it's banati. The blade is pretty rusty and pitted. Fittings are
a bit loose. Hardwood scabbard with white metal or aluminum fittings. Scabbard fittings are also a bit loose. I wiped the blade
down with Ballistol but i haven't attempted any extensive cleaning. This is probably WWII/mid-century. No international shipping. (Note: I purchased these knives secondhand and any statements about origin or age are based on my own research and judgment.)
