    Description

    This is a very nice lightweight export version Nepalese Gurkha Kukri knife, 16", and includes the
    Chakmak
    and
    Karda
    accompanying smaller blades. Condition is "Used" but suitable for use in survival environment or hunting. The blade is made of steel, chrome plated, with the traditional cow's hoof notch, has a 1/4" spine thickness, and measures 31cm/12" tip to pommel, 42cm/16" overall. The handle appears to be made from animal bone, and the brass keeper is made with the traditional lions head. The blade is engraved "Army Traders" "Super" likely a supplier in India and model name. The knife weighs 504 gr./17.8 oz. The sheath is leather with some simple engraving, with a brass protector tip. Acquired in 1970 in Gurkha artifacts and antique shop, Bangkok, Thailand. If to be used for hunting or survival, blade needs additional honing. Item pictured is actual item being sold. Shipping via USPS in US.
