Vintage Reino Kankaanpaa Finnish Puukko Horse Head Knife

Description

Up for auction is a rare Finnish horse head puukko knife by Reino Kankaanpaa, Kauhava Finland. This is a small knife, measures about 5 1/2" with a blade length of 2 5/8" & the handle is made of galalith ( galalith was made from milk bi-products and was an early form of plastic which fell out of use by WW2).
Condition is good, some age appropriate wear, discoloration, scratches & craquelure to the galalith handle. The leather sheath is in good condition, some wear, toning & wear/damage to the belt hanger.
