    Description

    This is a set of six vintage Karl Kimmel Steak Knives with antler handles and stainless steel blades.  The handles have a bull elk (or stag) carved into the real antler handle and also have a group of elk (or stag) etched into the steel blade.  Each handle is slightly different but the carvings are all similar, etchings are all identical.  On each blade there is also lettering that says, Karl Kimmel, Solingen, Germany, Stainless Steel. The photos are the best description.  The knife is about 8.75 inches long with a blade length of 4.5 inches
    Our searches found a few examples of Karl Kimmel knives and cutlery but no information about him or his company. Solingen, Germany, has been famous for its knife makers for hundreds of years and these appear to be very well made.  This set is used and in very good condition but one knife has the blade slightly pulled out from the handle, even though it seems very tight.  We invite your inspection and offer.  Shipping will be under .00 within the U.S. and returns are accepted for any reason within 30 days.
