    Description

    Vtg Chinese Hand Carved Spinach Jade 4" Wide Bowls Wood Stands Orig Box MINT
    Pair of hand carved jadeite "spinach" jade bowls in original box dates from the early  to mid 1980's for the export trade. From the estate of a world traveler.
    Each measures just about 4 inches diameter at the lip and is about 2 inches tall. The stands are about 2 1/4 inch diameter and about 1 1/8 inch tall. The presentation box which, as noted, has some staining, is about 10 5/8 inchs by 5 inches by 3 inches.
    These are not the finest examples of these bowls that I have seen, but they are still translucent, thin, and far nicer than many in the market/
    I left intact, including the clay to hold the bowls in place on the stands. Easy enough to remove as it does not damage either the wood or the bowls.
