Vintage Chinese Copper-Gold Trim Multicolor Porcelain Rice Bowl Hand PaintedDragon Phoenix Wedding Luck Joy Wedded Bliss Markings
This beautiful rice bowl makes an elegant statement. It is in very good condition with some crazing to the gold (not the porcelain) and measures 4.5” in diameter across the top rim and stands 2.5” high. It was hard to get a picture of the gold areas without reflections, but it is only reflections. There is a very minute tiny chip on the inside top rim, but very hard to see (see picture). This gold Chinese rice bowl has colorful red dragons and a variety of other markings. The inner surface of bowl is glazed glossy white. It is marked Made in China on base in red with other markings. A wonderful piece of very fine porcelain that would look beautiful on display or to use and also a nice collector piece!
The "double happiness mark" is usually understood to mean "wedded bliss". This decorative symbol is created by the combination of two xi (joy) characters and referred to as shuang (double) xi (joy)".

” to see them. Those in the USA may pay before I send the invoice if they choose.
International Shipping:
International buyers may email me for shipping prices to their country. As per Ebay Policy, I must include the following (I never experienced any of these policy problems myself, but they have to be included in my description): Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility, so please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up so please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as ‘gifts’ as US and International government regulations prohibit doing this.
