Naoki Yoshimoto, whose cube was unfolding in his head in the same way that a person with a lot of music in his head created a masterpiece, came up with the cube in 1971 when he was searching for a way to divide the cube into 2 equal parts in a three-dimensional space. Then came a pair of overly interesting polyhedra, eight cubes joined together that could be unfolded in different ways. The cube then splits into 2 pieces and transforms into 2 diamonds of gold and silver with 12 faces each. The ever-changing cube is not only a children's toy, but also a puzzle that adults are passionate about.
