This doll was used on the catalog cover for Pauline the year Sandra was introduced. Prized by collectors, it is hard to find a brand new Sandra.
Sandra, a charmingAsian child, is dressed in a gorgeous rose colored velvet dress with exquisite silk ribbon embroidery adorning her lovely white collar. She carries her adorable little mohair bear, Annabelle.
Sandra has dark brown eyes, hand-knotted eyelashes and long pretty dark brown hair topped by a beautiful pink bow. She is craftred of fine, hand-painted porcelain and is an individually hand-numbered Worldwide Limited Edition of 950 pieces.
This is my favorite of all the Pauline 22" porcelain dolls.

Pauline was born in Makkassar, Indonesia to Captain Jofef and Palina Hoen. She survived internment in a Japanese concentration camp during WWII. Later her
family was able to return to Holland. She studied in Switzerland and waent on to live in Hong Kong. She met her husband Mick Bjonness-Jacobsen there; and they raised their family all over southeast Asia (Borneo, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Phillipines.) Finally they settled in West Vancouver, Canada. pauline loved drawing adn sculpting and out of theese passions by the 1970's Dolls by Pauline came into being.
